‘Hello, Love, Goodbye’ breaks Filipino cinema box office record, rakes in US$4.5 million

Behold, the hottest film offering to come from the Philippines is Hello, Love, Goodbye.

The film which stars Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards has already garnered US$ 4.5 million (P250,040,718.80) in ticket sales barely five days since its release.

It is currently a box office record for 2019.

Directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina and produced by Star Cinema, the romantic comedy is about a domestic worker, Joy (played by Bernardo) and a bartender named Ethan (played by Richards) who fall in love in Hong Kong.

Both actors are from rival networks, making this film all the more reason to watch. Bernardo is ABS-CBN’s biggest talents and Richards is GMA’s top talent.

The film has received rave reviews for exploring the issues faced by Filipino domestic workers who have to endure hardships to provide their families.

It is currently screening in 350 cinemas in the Philippines with a possible screening in the UAE.
